With deepest regrets
That which you have yet to write
At death, won’t be wrote

Last year in the midst of the pandemic I watched Hamilton on Disney Plus for the first time. The lyrics “why do you write like you’re running out of time” hit home for me. So many loved ones have passed away during the pandemic, and they will never get the chance now to write down their cherished thoughts and memories. I write like I am running out of time, because none of us know how much time we will get.
